Veet Stripless Wax Review

I usually purchase the Veet Oriental Wax and bulk buy the wax strips, however when i went to repurchase some more i found that the oriental wax was fully priced and the stripless version was on offer for 9.99£ at Boots (also at superdrug). I opted for the stripless wax because it was cheaper and because it seemed more convenient because it didnt require the use of wax strips.

It extremely easy to use just like the any other warm wax, you can microwave it or let it sit in a bath of hot water to heat the wax. It comes with a wooden spatula that will indicate when the wax is too hot to use and vice versa.

Here comes the part that sucks, the consistency when pasted on the skin is awful, its lumpy it somehow dries so fast and that it doesnt apply smooth and yet it doesnt because it takes a while to be fully dry. Even though it is advertised as stripless you would think the wax will peel off in one piece, but the wax practically snaps off and breaks apart and was much more painful than the wax that requires strips. It left hard to remove wax residue that felt like melted plastic on my skin.

I would 100% not recommend this product, it is messy and not worth the effort. I would rather have spent that extra 5£ on the oriental wax or an alternative brand that does the warm wax that requires strips.

VERDICT
Value for money: 3.5/5
Would recommend: 1/5
Easy to use: 4.5/5
Effeciency: 2/5
