Likas Papaya soap review

Now those of you who are mad about skin lightening and getting that beautiful porcelain look would have heard of Likas, now recently its been heard of that papaya has properties that mildly light the skin (as well as lemon and potatoes i might add), so if you set off to find THE best papaya soap for lightening skin, most people would say Likas. I must warn you however there are fakes. I hear the legit product has the superbrands stamp on front and there is a shiny foil allover the box.
You can always buy Likas online however I believe i could probably find a good deal locally, I even travelled to Leeds with no luck so i settled for a less known brand. Anyway some months later my mum told me about a new Filipino shop that had opened and said she bought some soap from there turns out she bought 4 boxes of Likas in one go. It was buy 2 for the price of 1, as well as money back guaruntee if you dont see a change in a few weeks.

This is how the bar looks like orange like papaya and with Likas branded across, it has a very musky smell not french slight suffocating in my opinion. The soap lathers easily and when used with a exfolient it should maximise the result. i should also mention you should leave it on for 5-10 mins before washing it off and probably use it once every 2-3 days because;
1. It will run out quickly otherwise
2. you dont want to dry out your skin
3. If you overuse it will cause your skin to sting and go red.

Likas claims that by using its soap it will:
- reduce acne
- remove dark mark
- even out skin
- lighten skin

MY VERDICT:
I generally dont use Likas on my face since i have dry combi skin type, but i believe using it religiously will work since i am also exfoliating religiously also.

However i will also mention alot of whitening soap contain zinc which will give your skin the look of a white hue/glow after using to give the impression that it has lightened skin however this effect is very temporary.
